Good Morning Parents and Students,
Here are your learning opportunities for today.
Language Arts:
- 40 minutes of independent reading.
(GetEpic is also another great option for reading. Parents, please check your email for information about signing in to Get Epic remotely.)
- Reading Response: Use the reading response menu posted in Google Classroom. Open the reading response document, select one response for the day, and write about it using whatever independent text you choose. Please DO NOT submit your doc. Keep it so you can add to it each week.
- The document and the menu are under the topic called: Reading Response".
Math:
- 1. New Learning: Watch the Visual Learning Video 9.3 that has been assigned on Pearson. It's in Math Classroom as well.
- 2. Watch the video Ms. Westra made that is posted in Math Classroom.
- 3. Complete lesson 9.3 Independent Practice Page 343 (Problem # 7-18). This practice page has been assigned to you as well. When you open it you will see all of the pages. DO NOT do all of the pages. Scroll to page 343 and try the assigned problems. You will need a piece of paper, preferably a notebook to work in. Write the page number at the top of the page like we'd do in class. Number each problem as you do it. This will help you keep your work organized, and it will allow me to help you if you need help in the future.
- Practice your multiplication facts.
